Preview app problems

Just did a clean install of Lion on my MBP and when I click on any single jpeg the Preview app opens ~5 of my most recently opened photos along with the one I clicked. Any way to change this? It's very annoying and they all open in separate windows. I searched but I couldn't find anything and I played with Preview's settings but I couldn't find anything there either.

It's a new Lion feature not specific to Preview. To disable it, go to System Preferences > General > uncheck "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps." Note that this disables it for all apps.
