Hi all after some advice and help please,

So I am trying to get all my data off my macbook, as I am moving to a new one. Now I have tried to use time machine to my NAS and it just corrupts or fails everytime. Im at the end of my tether having spent 3 days trying to backup.

My question is what is my best course of action to ensure no lose of information? I am happy to manually restore items/data on the new Mac if i know where it is?

Should I use bootcamp and just copy the macintosh hardrive to the NAS?
Should I use Lion and just copy the macintosh hardrive to the NAS?
Should I some how clone the drive to the NAS???????
Should I take another course of action?

You can clone the hard drive using Superduper

And that will be useable by migration assistant when you hook up a new mac
