Although I have Flash player installed on my G5 Desktop, Dual 2 GHz PowerPC, when ever I try to view certain videos or websites I get the window saying I need Flash Player to view. Why won't it just open the player I have installed automatically? Thanks!

Have you restarted the browser? If not, you'll need to do so to ensure that the plugins are loaded.

What version of Flash did you get? IIRC, Adobe stopped supporting the PPC architecture a while back.

Version 10.1 r53 , I've restarted the computer and I still get the pop up saying I need to download Flash Player in order to view certain websites.

The newest Flash for PPC is 10.1 r102. Get here:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/ge...rchive/fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive.zip
(sorry, they force you to download so much)

What OS version and browser version are you using?
10.4.11

Tried the latest version but it said "Intel" only. I was redirected to the version I downloaded. When I go to watch a movie trailer or similar video on a site, the audio skips and the video moves in choppy movements. Is this the Flash Player problem or something else?
