(Saved) iMessage ?

Under settings> general> usage on my idevices there is space being used by (saved) iMessages
After deleting all of my messages the space is still being used.
It's maddening.
Any ideas on how to delete iMessages permanently?
Appreciate any help!

Maybe you have other device that is connected to your iMessage?

Once you have deleted them, sync with iTunes. It'll delete the cache
