Is there anything I can get to boost my iBook G4's airport? It works fine, but I was wondering if there is something I could signicantly boost my range.

The range is determined much more by the transmitter (the wireless router or access point) than the receiver. Where the transmitter is located, the number and type of walls/floors/ceilings, other interference sources (2.4 Ghz phones, for example) will all factor into range.

You can get bigger/better antennae for some wireless routers that help, or these "Pringle can" directional attenae as well. You can also get repeaters that pick up the signal and rebroadcast (this is how the Airport Extreme base and Airport Express can work together to extend range -- other systems do the same thing).
