final cut import problems

Hi,

I've tried importing some .3gp video files into final cut, and only one of them is recognized. I then saved them as .mov with quicktime pro, but I get the same message when I try to import them into Final Cut: "File error: Unknown file".

Does anyone know the solution to this??
