had my mini displayport on my macbook aluminum running perfectly using the mirroring setting. decided to mess with the resolution and it cut out. now when i plug it back in my screen stays blue and the tv attempts to connect. it says "unsupported mode" on the tv. called apple care but i wasn't willing to pay $50 to talk to them. all the info he would give me was that it had something to do with "resetting hardware".
ive attempted to reset the PRAM and SMC but nothing seems to want to bite. the arrangment tab with the mirroring option is gone and my frustration is through the roof. would love some help. THANKS!
