Apple wireless keyboard on PC (not bootcamp)

Hi All,

I want to use my mac keyboard (running both computers on the same screen) on a pc and it doesn't seem to recognize. What to do???

Windows 7 Ultimate platform.
Alienware mx17

You should be able to pair it if the PC has a working BT radio. Make sure you un pair it first from your Mac. You can only pair to one machine at a time.

What would you suggest if I'm running both machines on a KVM simultaneously?

You're probably looking at having two wireless keyboards. The KVM is convenient for wired items but not for wireless because of the requirement to un pair and pair when switching. It might be just as easy and less expensive to buy a cheap wired Windows keyboard for use on the PC. Save the Apple wireless keyboard for the Mac.
