covert a Mac bmap font to ttf pc

Can someone help me convert a bmap font (mac) into a pc ttf font?

The BMP font will be just that, a crude bitmap font. TTF is a vector format so I don't see how the font could be easily converted. You can convert postcript and open type fonts to Truetype

What is the font - is it an old mac system font
