hi guys
i'm new to this so i'm sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section.

anyway i was just wondering if someone could help me with my dock. the applications folder has dissapeared of it and i don't know how to get it back on it. ive checked the system preference but can't seem to find anything. im using snow leopard by the way.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Currently 13" Late 2010 MBA, 4GB/128GB; Early 2011 13" MBP, dual core i7 2.7ghz, 4gb ram, 500gb hd
Open your hard drive, grab the Applications folder and drag it to the right side of your dock, near the trash. There's a dash-line separating dock icons - those to the left of it are apps, those to the right are folders or documents. Items on the dock are just shortcuts or pointers to the original files.

cheers thanks alot, i know what i was doing wrong now, i was dragging it from the left hand side of the finder
