Hey guy's,

I purchased a pair of Philips SHB6100 bluetooth headphones for some late night listening etc.

I had them working great on my Vista laptop, enabled by changing output from 'Digital Out' to 'Bluetooth Headphones'. The OS X seems to do this differently though. :\

They paired to the mac in a matter of seconds and they do show up in the list of 'Line Out' devices but I can't figure out how to select them as the output method.

Any help would be awesome regarding this!

Just to update, I figured out how to select the headphones and have 'blips' of sound playing through them.

The problem is the audio quality - it's terrible! It freezes, skips and well isn't listenable if that's the word.

Any way to improve this?

What version of OSX are you using? They should work in Leopard but you may have problems with earlier versions as I don't think A2DP was supported previously.

Hi shfle,

Version 10.5.4. I too thought that Apple threw A2DP support into Leopard as well?

I'll keep playing around with it...

Well, moved the USB Dongle from the back of the beast to the back of my monitor and hey presto.

Must've been getting interference from the aluminum case, Apple's BT Keyboard & MM seem to respond a bit better now too. :)
