Purchasing problem...

ipad mini 16g 13" Macbook Air 80g Snow Leopard ipod nano 8g 11" Macbook Air 128 g Mountain Lion
Got myself a new 11" Air just before Christmas and it and my older Air are the only machines authorised on my account. Now I cannot seem to purchase from the older Air and when I purchase from the new one the tune won't download to the old one...

Also would be grateful if someone could tell me if it's possible to get my ipod to sync to both Macs....

Thanks in advance for any help...

I'm guessing you're using iTunes when you say purchasing. Are you using the same AppleID on both machines? Are you logged into iCloud with the same ID on both?

If so, when you purchase on one does it show on the purchased tab on the other?
