Okay, since my 20" Samsung Syncmaster 206BW Display is smoked, i sended it to the manufactory and they said they could not repiar it and will give me my money back. Heres the dilemma, i have been looking on a dell screen witch is on sale right now, anyone have some good experience with the Dell UltraSharp™ 2007WFP 20.1" Widescreen Moniter? I personally love the design. What screen do you guys think i should buy? :D The dell or the samsung again?

Ty anyways

There are lots of great monitors - one being the 20 or 24 inch Dell that many love (myself included).

One might believe that there are few manufacturers and lots of sellers so check out the others. I bought a 22 inch LG and it is very nice. Remember Dell is a seller not a manufacturer so their monitor could be under another brand name.

If you can afford it, look at Apple and maybe push the money into a fresh computer with a screen - like the 24" iMac. I did this as well.

Lots of good choices at least here in Toronto.

Hi Slux!

That's a bit worrying to hear - I have the Syncmaster 206BW as well! What happened to it exactly?

As you've probably also noticed the Dell's are quite expensive over here in europe: The E207 is comparable to the Samsung 206BW but a bit more expensive.

However: They currently have a special offer on the 2007WFP that looks quite good: It uses a different panel to the E207 and 206BW that is the same as the one used by Apple in the 20" cinema display.

Check out the offer here:

IMO, as much as I dislike any company that has so many non-english people on the phones, I would go for the Dell.

It looks hawt.

Sooper Fast!
I've read a lot of reviews about samsung's bw series having stuck pixels and a lot of light bleed and stuff.

Well, with the Samsung, you know what to expect as you've already had one before.

The Dell E207 I'd stay away from. The 2007 looks promising as it uses a better LCD technology... but it's still a bit more expensive than the Samsung.
