Ok, so I'm reading this guide (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/the-complete-guide-to-backing-up-ipod-and-itunes-music/) and I have a few questions.
All I have to do is is drag the xml and data files into the external HD and that's it? That'll transfer all my songs with the way they look in my itunes and everything else like playlists?
And I have My music saved in 2-3 different places on my harddrive and I don't want to move them now cause I'd have to relocate all the songs. So those same xml and data files are in other places, do I drag those into the external HD too?
I want to back these up and also put it on my Macbook so I can have my music library with me.
Thanks.
Also, if I want to burn a playlist. How do I get it so that when someone puts it in their computer, the correct song name, artist and album come up just as I have it in my iTunes? Do I go to Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning and then click data CD?
And I'm using a PC if this matters at all.
