I'm using Final Cut Express on my iBook G3. When I try to change the speed of a clip in the timeline (comand J) I get an error that says "Unable to complete the command. A conflict occured during the trim operation". How can I speed up my clip?

copy the clip in a new sequence, do the speed change and copy that back into your edit
