Thank you for reading; I am really in a pickle... I am currently attending Brooks institute of photography and am looking for a separate monitor for editing pictures. I am running a macbook pro 2.4ghz 4gb. I am kind of limited to my budget and don’t really want to spend more than $600.00 I also would like to eventually hook a TV tuner up to this monitor. After doing extent research, I have came up with a few finalists. Please let me know what you think, have you used any of these or maybe you have another suggestion. I would like to keep it between 24 and 28 inches. Thank you so much for the help.

Your Mac's Specs

I have a similar model to the Samsung for my MBP, the 226BW 22in, and i really like it. Though i am trying to find a way to calibrate the laptop monitor and this one, since it seems that the Samsung is a bit oversaturated with the images i take, but overall it's an excellent monitor, which i'm sure the 245BW will be too. How do you like Brooks Institute? I was looking into transferring, since my college isn't up to par with their photography or graphic design programs, at least i think.
