Best way to burn a .cdr file?

I have a .cdr file that I need to burn to DVD. Unfortunately it gives me the option of using Disk Utility to burn this and that won't work properly. Are there other programs that will burn a .cdr file to DVD?

I cannot see on their page if it supports CDR files but give Burn a go, its free and open source
