So I have a 15 in macbook pro and a large amount of pressure hit the top of the computer while it was closed breaking the lcd screen. I bought a replacement screen and installed it myself with directions I got form the website I bought the screen from. Now the screen works great but it makes noise. At first I thought it was the hard drive spinning but I noticed that when the screen goes to sleep it stops. If I readjust the tilt of the screen it will stop for a moment or change pitch. Any suggestions on what is causing this noise or more importantly how to stop it. Some people are sensitive to smells and I am sensitive to sound. It drives me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
