I have several RSS feeds that I use Mail to subscribe to and read. Now, when in mail and viewing and article, I can click a link that allows me to read more. The entire article then shows up in a Safari window and I can read the whole article. Once the article is opened in a Safari window, I can add it to my Reading List. My question is, is there a way that I can make the article go directly to the Safari reading list without actually opening the article up in a Safari window?

The logic goes like this:
Mail>RSS feed>Article>Safari>Reading list

I am interested to know if there is a way to do the following:
Maill> RSS Feed>Article>Reading list

I am using OSX 10.6.8, Safari 5.1.2, and Mail 4.5. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

why not try using Vienna as your RSS reader and keep your mail for your personal stuff?
Vienna is fantastic and works the same as mail when its in your dock i.e. it shows live updates.
Its also free:)
