Mail threads mess-up

MacBook 2gb
I use Mail.app vers 3.9 under OSX 10.5.8. Currently the threads in the inbox become a little messy, mixing different senders under the same thread.
Does anyone can help???

I´ve tried to rebuilt the inbox but the problem still arises. Does anyone can help? I have loaded all the mail boxes into Entourage and it works pretty well. But I wonder why it cannot work in Apple Mail.
