Downloading Games From Steam on 10.4.11

Hey i just got Steam on My mac through crossover and I want to know if i can
download games through it onto my mac. Im using the mac section for games and i specifically want CS source with Gmod. Can i download mac games through a PC crossover steam and have them work?
I have 10.4.11
