Audio editing program?

hi all
i distinctly remember some years ago finding a program ready installed in my iBook that made audio recording and editing possible. I now have a new Macbook. Is this program or a replacement still in there?
I don't need anything so complicated as Garageband, it is just for recording voice, possibly a littel introductory music, then editing.

Sounds like you are talking about SoundStudio. I don't know if there is a version for the Intel Macs yet.
Still GarageBand will work wonderfully for you.
