I have an iMac and an iPhone. When I sync my iPhone contacts and the Address Book on the iMac, it duplicates the names of my contacts randomly. For example, before I sync my contacts, a contact of mine is listed as “Erin.” After the sync, the contact gets changed to be listed as “Erin Erin.” I’m not sure why this is happening. The contacts are set up exactly the same way on my iPhone and iMac. The “First Name” field of contact is where I add the person’s name. This seems to only happen with the contacts where I only list their first name. This issue doesn’t happen every time I perform the sync and it doesn’t happen to all my one name contacts. It’s a random occurrence. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
