To Do application

Hello,
I am using th ToDo application in OSX and have added it to the startup list... however, when my imac is starting, the ToDo applications launches on startup but nothing appears on the desktop and I have to click on the icone which is on the dock to make it appear..... Does anyone know how to make this aplication fully appearing upon startup ?

... I am using the default ToDo application (I don't know how it is called in English but in French it's called "Aide-Memoire"). I found out what was wrong.... in the account's startup applications, I had checked the "hide" case.... since I have unchecked it, the post-it appears now on the computer startup....
