Problem Installing New Ram on a Macbook Pro

Hi guys! I've had some trouble installing new memory on a Macbook Pro that I'd really be appreciative if anyone could shed some light on! I've put it into a picture just because I think that it will help to demonstrate the problem in a clearer way.

In case anyone is reading it looks like somehow it is the wrong type. Apparently generic memory seldom works in Macs... ugh

I've just purchased again from a different place.

You're right. It's the wrong type of memory. (notice the number of chips on the new modules compared to the old modules) It would probably work in a PC notebook but Macs are more particular.
