I own a 2006 black Macbook. I know that the power supplies from that era are commonly faulty (smoking, getting really hot and melting, etc.). This is now my second power supply that has done that.
So I (think) I have two options (and correct me if I am wrong) -
1. Dishing out $90 to buy the new macbook power supply ($90 that I do not have)
2. Buying a cheap clone for $30 off ebay.
Is a clone worth it? And if so, is there a "best" clone to buy?
Any input would be appreciated,
Daniel
