does the ibook support the tap method ?

where u can tap the mouse pad that u touch with ur finger (if thats the name) to represent a click or do u have to use the button.

I heard it doesnt is this true?

yea it does have that option. you just have to enable it. it's in system profile under keyboard and mice.
