I recently noticed a problem in illustrator 10, I have both CS and 10 installed, Im running 10.3.8 as you know. My problem is that when I save a file, save as the first time I save a new file, the format drop down used to say 'adobe illustrator document' by default, now it says text file. I've tried clicking the drop down format box to see if adobe illustrator document is there as an available format, but it's not. it still looks like an illustrator 10 doc and opens in illustrator 10 when double clicked. I've repaired permissions, and deleted illustrator 10's preferences already to no avail. any ideas?
