Hello,
Is there an easier way to view the bookmarks in Safari, like you would in Firefox or IE, like a drop-down menu? The only way I know of - in Safari - to view the favorites is to:
1) Go to "Bookmarks" on the top of the screen.
2) Click "show all bookmarks."

Then it brings up a whole huge window. Is there any other simpler way? Thanks.

  1. Click on the bookmarks icon to the far left of the Bookmarks ToolBar. (To show/hide the Bookmarks Toolbar press Shift + Command + B)
  2. After clicking the icon, you will be presented with all your bookmarks so you can delete, rearrange etc to your hearts content.
  3. When you have finished, clicking again on the Bookmarks icon will return you to the last page you viewed.

It's kind of clunky, but under Bookmarks, choose Show All Bookmarks.

There will be two panes. Click In the right-hand pane and Command-A them (to define all of them). Drag them into the Bookmarks Menu item in the left pane.

If those bookmarks were imported, there will be an Imported folder, or more than one, at the bottom of the left pane. You can delete it if it's empty or if it contains an imported list no longer needed.
