I did a search here and read a few things but no one explained how to format an external disc FAT32 in OSX?

I have a 250 gb external drive now formatted NTSF in two partitions. I have copied all the files off and would like to re-format each of the partitions FAT32 so I can easily use it with my mac. In disc utility when I select either one of the partitions and click on the erase tab, everything is greyed out. Selecting the disc does let me choose some options. The only thing I see that is not HFS is MS-DOS file system and UNIX file system. Is MS-DOS file system FAT32? If I choose that will I have the opportunity to partition the drive after it is erased?

Thanks

Thanks, I didn't find that thread. I'm new to this board so bear with me.
