I purchased my third iMac last summer (OS X 10.8.4). For Time Machine I'm still using the same 250GB G-Drive I had used previously for my first and second iMacs. It works fine, but I'm concerned about it's age. Should I replace with a new G-Drive (if so, how large), or is there a better option? Thanks!

I would definitely replace it preferably with a drive that's at least as large as your internal iMac drive or larger. Also, most of us recommend two methods of backing up: 1. Time Machine 2. Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. Time Machine backups are not bootable where as the other two are.
