Constant prompts for password..

This has been bugging me for a couple years now. I really don't need my mac to ask for my administrator password so often, like every time I install software, and in many other cases. I only use my computer at home and there isn't much security risk. Is there any way to configure OS X so it doesn't ask for an administrator password?

No, since that would undermine and tear apart the very structure of the OS that makes it so secure.
