how can i get songs from my ibook onto my macbook.
i cant find my usb stick.

Buy another USB thumb drive? Saw one at Staples yesterday for $7.95 1 Gb.

Or, setup your MacBook in target disk mode and hook it up to the iBook using Firewire. See this Apple article:

i used migration via firewire and got all my stuff on. thanks for the link.

I put mine on SD cards and than just loaded them that way. I also have an external hard drive that I keep all my media on for this purpose. iDisk is another option.
