So as I say in the title I have an Imac 2.0ghz 1gb ram aluminum. When it is booted up it will work for half an hour max and then kernel panic then if I try to boot it up again it will get so far and then just restart again. I have tried everything I can think of hardware test come up with nothing and even reinstalling the OS doesn't work.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks

1. Take a look at the logs to see if it gives you a tip as to what is causing the KP.

2. Try removing one stick of RAM at a time to rule that out.
