Storage on MacBook Pro - None left ?

Storage on MacBook Pro saying 172GB being used in the "other' category? How do I find out what that is exactly? As far as I know all files are stored in dropbox so hard drive shouldn't be clogged. Literally no space left at all.

Download the free Disk Inventory X which will show you what's taking up the space and what (files) they are.

Dropbox files are still stored locally, otherwise you wouldn't be able to access them.

Time Machine defaults to local drives unless you tell it otherwise on Lion. That could do it.
