i'm on day 6 of teaching myself on this ibook g4 and i
have this question: is there a keyboard equal to the "home"
and "end" keys that i have on my pc? scrolling up and down
using the arrows is okay, but i miss the "automatic" movement
that pressing the "home" key allows on my pc when i want
to swiftly get to the page top; conversely with the "end" key
when i want to get to the page bottom.
help. please!!

yes, if I remember correctly, and depending on your ibook model, below F13 is home, below it is end. home takes you to the top of any page, end takes you to the bottom, page up and page down mighyt be under F15, they should be labeled or something. page up scrolls up one full page up, page down goes down. to be sure, open system preferences> international>input menu tab> check keyboard viwer, itll let you see what the buttons are, or go into system prefs>kb & mouse>kb shortcuts, itll show you what each key does.

Yeah, anything that's written in light grey on the keyboard can be accessed by holding the fn key down...

You also have page up + page dn on the up and down arrow keys + fn.
Or to use the F1-F5 function keys normally (i.e. without changing volume/brightness) hole the fn key and press them...
