Hello all,
I am a PC tech. being thrown into Macintosh support. For learning purposes, I have an older beige G3 tower with a 10/100 mb PCI network card installed. However, it only connects at 10 Mbit. I am running OS 10.2.8 and it works smoothly, but the network connection seems slow (not to mention that it is dropped every now and then). This network is a very stable and well put together system, so I am suspecting that it is the card in the Mac that is the problem. Any advice on what I can do to improve its performance?
