How do I put my DVD collection on my external HD?

So, I can watch them anywhere without having to carry my DVD cases.

Doing this would require breaking the encryption on your DVDs, which would be a violation of the DMCA, which is US law. Since we don't permit discussion of illegal activity here, this thread is being closed.
