I just spent a frustrating 4 hours with Apple chat support!! Maybe someone here can help...
Findmymac (lion 10.7.2) does not find my mac (!). If I go into iCloud and uncheck the findmymac box, it disappears from icloud.com's my devices list in about 12 seconds. Recheck it and it appears in about 10 seconds. But it registers as being offline- when it is not.
We have isolated it to something to do with my local wifi. (It does not work at all when connected via ethernet cable, per Apple's advisory info). I asked what port might need to be opened, but the guy on Apple's side could not tell me and could offer no help...
Does someone out there know something about this????
