Installing games onto external hard drive

Hey all,
Yet another external hard/SC2 drive question!
I would like to back up SC2 onto my external drive.
Can I just click and drag they SC2 icon onto the drive, or do I have to get the disk and tell the game to install onto the drive?

Why backup to an external hard drive? If it's to make a backup copy, just burn another copy of the CD. If you're wanting to place it on an external drive to play from the external, it'll be slow - real slow.

Anyway, use the original CD to install it on the external drive. That way you'll be sure to have everything.
