If you didn't finalize the CD (keeping it open for additional writes) it may not play on some portable players or auto players. Try burning another audio CD, finalize it and see if that works.

Regards.

when I ask burn for info on the 'burnt' disc it states that the disc has no space available and is not writable. guess that's good news.
when I ask for info on an individual track it states that it is an AIFF track?
I was trying to burn wav.?

Aiff is the standard for audio cd's. Most older players can't play mpeg or wav.
Try using a different media (what brand of cd are you using?) and/or using a slower burn speed.
