you mean disk instead of dish ?
use carbon copy clone free software from internet.

No, CCC is for copying an ENTIRE drive (EVERY file) to an external disk. I don't think that is what karriem is asking.

To copy files from one hard drive to another, you just drag and drop the files from where they are located to the hard drive icon for the other drive which is on your desktop.

NOTE: if the external drive is formatted NTFS you will be unable to do this, as OS X does not support writing files to NTFS drives. Reformat the drive for OS X and it will work as expected.
