Hi,
Today my macbook 2ghz started running very slowly and ended up freezing, i couldnt shutdown so i was forced to remove the battery and replace to restart it.
When i restarted the grey screen with the apple sign come up and then basically went straight to a black screen with white text and comes up with the following error:
com.apple.syslogd: exited abnormally: Bad system call
com.apple.syslogd: 1 more failure without living at least 60 seconds will result in job removal
restart in 10 seconds
com.apple.nibindd: exited abnormally: Bad system call
com.apple.nibindd: respawning too quickly! throttling
com.apple.nibindd: 1 more failure without living at least 60 seconds will result in job removal
restart in 10 seconds
it counts down from 10 tries till then it stops.
i have tried to repair permissions in safe boot, however it wont allow me too as it says disk utility has lost its connection to the disk management tool, i thought it might be the itunes packets from the update, so i removed them but still did not allow me to repair!
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!
Thanks
