If I enable this feature between the hours of 11pm and 5am and I receive twitter notifications and imessages while its on, will the notifications show up when the feature turns back on?

The notifications are still received by your phone, the screen just doesn't light up and your phone doesn't make a noise. I had DND on overnight and when I woke up the next morning, I had a couple of text messages on my lock screen notifications but I hadn't heard anything during the night.

In short, you still receive notifications with DND on, you just don't know about them until you check on your phone. Hope I was clear enough.
