Two intel core 2 duo?

Hi all, maybe this question is a little stupid but i really dont have idea if this is possible:
i have an iMac 24" inch 2.5gRam, 256Vram, 2.4 Ghz intel core 2 duo procesor.

The question is:
Is it possible to have two intel core 2 duo processors in my Imac?

No, the system board only has a single, soldered-in processor. If you need multiple processors, you have to upgrade to the Mac Pro.

Is it two 2.4Ghz intel processors getting a total of 4.8Ghz or is it 2.4Ghz total?

It is a single processor with 2 processing cores, each running at 2.4GHz. The clock rate is not cumulative, so it wouldn't be measured as 4.8GHz, despite the fact that each core operates at 2.4GHz.

Also, it might be helpful to note that a Core 2 Duo CPU running at 2.4GHz is not necessarily faster than a Core 2 Solo CPU running at 2.4GHz. The only time the second core contributes to performance is when the application that is being run is able to take advantage of multiple processors. Even today, when multiple processors are more common, there are relatively few applications that can take advantage of more than one CPU.

1-how much can i expand the RAM of my Imac?
2-Is it possible to have 2 video cards on my imac or change the one of the imac for another video card?

1) According to Crucial, up to 4GB.

2) No, the GPU is soldered to the system board from what I understand.

Your iMac supports a max of 4GB of RAM and has two memory slots.

You can only have a single video card in the iMac, and no, it can't be swapped out, unless you plan on violating your warranty. Even then, it's difficult to find a third party vendor who will sell you an updated iMac video card. You would probably have to search eBay for the parts or get a broken iMac and pull the video card from that.

That's the only real thing about those all-in-one type computers like the iMac, upgrade and part swaps are either not possible or real tricky.
