I despise the new iPhoto, unless I'm mistaken there is now way to mass rotate pics after mass highlighting and it's also annoying that there is no 'done' button.
Apple is too preoccupied with silly new features like identifying faces (which doesn't work) and batching ever new import into an 'event' but it's losing previous useful features.
Apple rarely lets me down but an hour and a half of rotating portrait shots from a 3 hour photo shoot has not made me very happy.
