Hello all,
Somehow all my dashboard widgets disappeared today. I used to have stickies with all my information and other widgets too. This morning i pressed middle button and there is nothing. All widgets were gone.

I would really appreciate your help if you can help me get my stickies back!!

Also i am new Mac user if there is a process and the way to get the stickies back please in details :)

Thank you.

That's odd. Does anything happen at all when pressing the middle button? How about the keyboard (F4 by default)? If you get the Dashboard, but nothing on it, there should at least be a + icon in the bottom left corner. Click that, then re-add your widgets. Hopefully your information is still intact.

Sorry for miss understanding. The problem that i am having is my stickies with information on them that i had for year already disappeared from my dashboard. I didn't delete the stickies or touched them. They just simply disappeared.

Again sorry for bad explanation :)

Take a look at this. It appears that if your notes still exist, you can find them in a plist file in ~/Library/Preferences/. I can't guarantee anything but it's worth a look.

Thank you for input. I appreciate it!

I don't see it in the directory that you told me to look for.
IF i don't see the file at that place does it mean my stickies with my info are gone for good? And also how could they disappear at first place?

It's bad that your information disappeared, but I look at those stickies as a way of keeping temporary information before you transfer it some other permanent storage kinda like what the real Post It's are used for..you shouldn't be using those for important information..

Regards
