Getting Only Connect to work with IPad

Hi,

My wife has been trying to do the Only Connect quiz via Safari on her IPad but it just won't work. Any suggestions about what might help.

Never mind, Googled it ...

Here's what will help: give up.

The game is Flash. Flash does not run on iOS devices. (Nor on Android devices, really -- Adobe discontinued Flash for Android because it was awful).

Solution: ask BBC to make a version of the game in HTML5 or JavaScript, and in the meantime play it on your Flash-supporting Mac or PC.

There are a few apps that funnel Flash stuff through their own servers, translate it on-the-fly and send that to you ... you could give that a try, but don't get your hopes up ...

After a bit of research she tried Puffin. Its not as good as the PC but it does work. Not so clear but OK for this. Not sure about anything more visually demanding.

Ah good to know as a last-resort sort of thing. I guess Puffin is one of those "flash-translation" browsers ...
