I'm looking for a way to run a script when a file in a given folder is opened.
I've looked into Folder Actions and Automator seems to be the easiest way to do this, since I don't know much about Applescript.
Problem is, Folder Actions only seem to be able to run when something is put into a folder, not when it's opened.
Is there any way to do this? Maybe even with a simple script running in the background? All I really need to do is change the colour label of a file when I open it, maybe a few other little things that I can figure out, I just need the handler for this kind of thing...
