Quick question (I think!)

My iPhone 3 was stolen (and disappeared from the tracker) - I replaced it with an iPhone 4. I was pleased that it updated almost straight off when I connected it to my mac, with all of the settings, etc from the previous phone.

The same thing's happened to a friend of mine, but she uses a PC.... Will her new iPhone 4 update as quickly and easily as mine did, or are there other (PC specific) steps that she needs to be aware of?

Thanks

iTunes works the same on both platforms and is the only piece of software used in updating and managing iOS devices. She'll be fine.
